(no subject)
Today I purchased some awesome green/purple "crackle" beads. They're quite spiffy, and they have both "my colors" on them, thus will go with a lot of what I wear. Also, they were cheap! <3
Also, Bedtime Stories was quite a fun movie. I expected it to be more lame/cheesy, but it was actually rather hilarious (though cheesy is still applicable). Even sitting with a random older lady next to me, I was enjoying it rather than focusing on the omgstrangersbesidemeaahhh aspect of it.
Someone was in here on the soundboard at some point this week - and fails epically at it. CD channel's EQ was WTF!style wonky. Like, I don't even know, it was like they just ran in and started turning dials with no clear idea of what they wanted it to sound like. Maybe they were deaf. Or something. Ugh. Also they turned the mains and subs down! As in, uh, off. Which ...is retarded, as no one who knows what the board is used for would ever do that. Because it doesn't make sense. Grr. And then the mics were in the booth, too (which isn't BAD per se, but it definitely is strange). Soundgeek!Erin was not pleased. D:<
In other news, I've been rewatching season 4 of Doctor Who recently (the past three days or so), and really am enjoying it. Again. To the point where I'm excited to get home and watch more, and am glad I saved it to my computer, and didn't delete it even after it aired on TV over here. It makes me happy (and then crushes my soul). I'm glad singe_allerdyce "made" me watch it... what, two years ago now? It's been a while (freakishly longer than it feels, which now makes me feel old again, aaaahhhh!), but, yeah. Many thanks, hon, if you read this - five bajillion awesome points for you. <33
