So last night (well, three/four this morning) I got something in my eye, and I couldn't get it out (or even figure out what it was - I didn't see anything at all). So after like an hour of trying to find it and generally probably making it worse, I realized my eye was swollen (eyelids were, and the part inside next to the tear duct that sort of looks like it's holding the eye in place or whatever) to the point where if I looked right with it, it was pushing on the eyeball itself quite painfully. I was, obviously, freaked out, and took allergy medicine and went to bed. Much better now, though still swollenish and pink and generally uncomfortable. Meh.

Also the air conditioner in the hall is officially my current enemy. It leaks, generally - mostly when it rains, because when it was put in it wasn't totally level, and so we have a bucket there, and I generally take care of emptying and replacing and drying things off, etcetera. Which is pretty normal for me. But now it's decided to leak in more places than just the one, to the point where it was dripping onto the outlet last night! So I wake up today, look, notice all the water on the plug for the a/c itself, and flail and get a towel and start cleaning up. I have no idea why it didn't explode / short out / burn the house down last night, but I'm not complaining. About that part. I'm still complaining in general, though, haha.

Also, Kitten has decided that this one streamer on my ceiling (which I have yet to get around to taking down, unlike the others, because it's a mildly awkward spot) is good fun, and has been launching herself off my bed to try to get it. It's freaking adorable. She used to do it when she was tiny, but she failed - a lot - due to being microscopic. Now, though, she's torn most of it down. I find that more amusing than when she tries to wake me up using her teeth. Ow.

My little list of things to do yesterday? None of it got done. Probably because I made the list - once I list things, my brain goes "oh, you listed them - obviously now we can forget them entirely!", and that's that. Only on rare occasions does it not do that. Or if it's something big or really freaking obvious (like "don't die", or something - I think I'd remember to do that still).

Oh, and I love it when I can associate moods with songs to the point where hearing that song automatically puts me in whatever mood I associate with the song. Seriously. It's brilliant.

Now - breakfast. Er, lunch, I guess? Onward!

lists, annoying, silly, ow!, kittens!, bleh, blindness is bad!
