Hello, current-event follower.
I'm virtuistic, a writer, journalist, and opinionated blog-fiend. This is spade_news, a place where I take the news, the spin, and the talking points and then strip the stale jargon from it to replace it with context, research, personality, and perhaps a hint of cheek. My goal is to simply call a spade a spade.

There is a need, I think, to remove the impartial distance in the news and apply a little bit of common sense, which is a disappearing commodity in our current day in age. Thus, in I jump.
