I took advantage of the extra hour today to go for a drive to a corner of the forest I hadn't visited in several years. It was a stunningly beautiful trip, because all of the oaks are turning and all of the oaks are orange, and gold. We did not win tickets to Hamilton. Alas.

But we did visit the actual Alexander Hamilton's actual grave site today, at Trinity Church, and I may have actually teared up when I saw Eliza's grave. Her sister Angelica's buried there, too, as is her eldest son Philip, and Hamilton's friend Hercules Mulligan.
