In November 2012,
Tom Bihn, the company who made my great little backpack I've
mentioned before, sent me a bag. For free. Because my mum sent them my "review" of the backpack, and they asked which bag it was I'd mentioned saving for in that post, and I told them, and then they sent it to me.
Which bag, you ask?
This one. They even included the mega shoulder strap (which, holy cow have I used). It was one of the more delightful surprises of 2012, I'll tell you what.
(Have I mentioned I will be purchasing all of my bags and luggage from this company forever and ever? Because, yeah. Yeah, I will.)
My biggest problem with this bag is that I pack it with so much stuff that I can't carry it long distance (like, through an airport) without pain. This is not the bag's fault. I just really need to do more pushups.
A lot.
In hindsight, I should probably spot-clean the sidewalk salt smudges off the fabric. That can't be good for it. (I will not blame the bus driver or station workers for unloading my bag into the slush. I will not. It's not their fault there was slush. But. Argh.)
Wanna see it all unpacked?

And. And. The best part? I can get this bag nearly as full as I did yesterday and still make it count as a carry-on, when I fly. Ooooh yeah.
I got the bag for free, because Tom Bihn is a company that has mastered the art of customer service (among other arts, like making great bags). But I had truly meant to buy it, and, if I'd succeeded in doing so, I would've told you this was one of the better investments I'd ever made.
Just in case you're on the lookout for some new luggage...
