I'm listening to
New Slang by The Shins for the first time in a long time, and it blasts me right back to the end of high school. Holy cow. Funny how listening to music is the closest I can come to traveling back in time.

I've been playing a lot of Solitaire lately (no judging), and on the version I've downloaded, there's an Undo option that lets you undo moves all the way back the beginning of the game, if you want. Sometimes I realize a few moves back I made a poor decision, so basically I go back and fix it, and sometimes fixing it means I win the game. It's not much of a endorphin rush, but I'd still rather win than lose.

Recently I've been feeling that, if I could choose, I'd press "undo" on some decisions I made a while back. Can I go back and fix it? If I could travel back in time, trace the steps I took to get me from there to here, maybe I'd see where I tripped up, where I stumbled, and change course just enough to have me steadier now. Maybe.
It's probably a very good thing that the only real way I can travel back in time is through listening to music.
