Me and Grant spent our last week before he leaves this week. It was the most amazing week of my life.
The things you learn about/from people, and the way people love is amazing. This is my best friend, the boy i love, and we got a few hurdles to go threw but, everything is going to be ok. I may cry and be sad, but in 6 weeks, boot camp will be over, then tech school, then us. He got me a lot of presents, three different kinds of flowers, and i saved the big pink and orange daisys. they all had white roses in them that mean forever, i got a beauitful new coach bag, among all the other cool stuff like my PINK NEBRASKA HAT HE SWORE HE WOULDNT BUY ME!!! But what is even nicer, is the small little thing on my left hand. No, im not engaged guys, relax, its a promise ring....and i love the promise that came with it :).
We learned a lot about each other this week. I just havent slept in two days so if you'd excuse me, i'd like to go dream of my odyessus now. (odyessus and peneolope in greek methology were seprated for 7 years. He got the shit kicked out of him, almost eaten, and tempted by sluts. She sat in the palace and waited for him and every day suitors showed up begging her to let them have her. He comes home dressed as a begger, she realizes its him, they both stayed true: a greek myth thats actually happy)
Grant Micheal Lane, 7 years, and more to come. I love you more then anything and were the luckiest people ever. Im so proud of you, and always will be. This wont be easy, as we start a new chapter of our life, but were going to be ok. Im always going to love you, and never ever will forget anything weve shared, and i hope these memories will keep you sane for the next few weeks at boot camp. Be Strong, Believe. <3
