In a weird way, I'm sorta happy that Lisbon was defeated and that in an age where many fear we are entering totalitarianism, that the little guy, when raising his voice, can still be heard above the throng.

The EU needs to handle this sensitively though and not try to sweep us under the rug. If they did, it would prove Eurosceptics right.
