(no subject)
Great news. Me and the other people I've been searching for a place with have secured a gaf in the Liberties near Cork St, on this street. It's renovated with double glazing, central heating etc. and all that malarkey. Not too dear either, and an easy ~5 minute cycle to Stephen's Green for Luasing fun.
Background: I moved out of Smithfield in (gasp! has it been that long!) July and have been kipping with my folks ever since, barring a brief 2-week stint on the couch in Smithfield rent-free, which is a part of my life I'd like to forget. I'm at the point of pulling my hair out at this stage. There had been all sorts of adventures in the meantime including faking a Spanish girl that would be our 4th person for a 4-bed place, complete with job reference letter and mobile (of a real Spanish girl that we knew, but who refused to play ball. Needless to say we didn't get that place.)
We move in on the 16th November. Excited!
