Went to Japantown today with mom. A nice, rainy, grey day. We got lunch at Isobune and I got a few things from the market for a Japanese snack package I'm offering at help_japan (banner/link at bottom of entry). This 1st person video of the tsunami is terrifying. At first I was like, okay some water. But not a moment later I actually yelled 'Holy shit!' at my computer. I'm scared and I'm not even over there. The news about Japan just keeps getting worse D:

[9:54 p.m. ET, 11:54 a.m. Tokyo] A meltdown may have occurred at at least one nuclear power reactor in Japan, the country's chief cabinet secretary, Yukio Edano, said Sunday.
