this weekend was an interesting mix of nothingness and drama. on Friday my dad picked me up from my dorm. i watched SG-1 and SGA. slash goggles indeed ;) also, i don't think i'll ever be able to forget that Teal'c likes Old School o_0 i don't know if that really deserves teh face, but i like it so.
on Saturday, i didn't get up until noon-ish. (i did that the whole weekend really...) i did nothing all day, until we went to Cirque du Soleil at 4. there is no describing it. it's just something you have to see. man i wish i could move that like. i really want a giant metal ring for me to spin in =) the music was beautiful as was the whole thing really. plus Haagenn Dazs was giving out free samples of ice cream outside, so i was a happy camper ^_^
quick question, is that guy on Boston Legal right now a Goa'uld? i can't remember his name, but the one who eats a lot. i think it is. cool =) so where was i...?
after the show, we ate and went home. i watched Red Dwarf- the episode 'Epideme'. when Kryten and Kochanski were leaving at the end, i thought 'Shouldn't they restart Lister's heart?' and then i hear Kryten scream out "Mister Lister!!" in his high-pitched voice =) that amused me.
on Sunday i actually woke up at 9, ate a waffle, and went back to sleep. but then i got a call from my friend danicoyaluvr who had been in a car accident. someone hit her head on. the car is destroyed and she is in a lot of pain right now. she says her face looks like she was in a fight and her back and neck are sore. i'm just glad it wasn't worse. although i wish i could be there for her and not just talk to her over the phone. hopefully i'll see her this weekend. i talked to her today but she sounded drowsy from the pain meds. as for the rest of the day, didn't do much. i read a few pages of a book i need to read for class, but not nearly enough. it's The Virginian by Owen Wister. the problem is, the book is actually interesting. at least enough to make me want to find out what happens. but as i've said before, if it's for school, my brain refuses to listen.
yesterday, my sister slept over in my dorm. i watched House- which by the way i had guessed that the model was a man before the episode even aired. i watch so much TV i can guess what's going to happen. i'd like to think that's a good thing. also, Wilson as God was fantastic XD and House whacking Wilson with his cane made my day ^_^ . my sister came to my classes today. i hope it wasn't too boring for her :) today my dad had volunteered at the Amgen Tour of California but he picked my sister up around 5 pm. we went out for dinner at the wharf and then he dropped me back off at my dorm.
also, my throat kinda hurts- i hope i was just snoring last night and not coming down with something.
i think that covered all the important things for this weekend. oh, and because it's true:
