luckily i woke up today without the headache, but i had some of the worst cramps i have ever had. i actually had to leave class half way through because i couldn't concentrate (i even felt sick to my stomach) and it feels better to walk or just stand up. i don't remember the last time i left a class early. on the way back to my dorm i got a strawberry smoothie and i feel SO much better. i'm even thinking about getting food in a minute.
on an unrelated note, in the book i'm reading for class Television: The Critical View" (edited by Horace Newcomb) there is a quote that says "More recently, police stories, with cops surmounting humanst illusions to draw thin blue lines against anarchocriminal barbarism, afford a variety of official ways of coping with the 'social issue,' ranging from Starsky & Hutch's muted homoeroticism..." (p. 581)
also, for the same class, we saw an episode of Absolutely Fabulous and i could swear i recognized the assistant, Bubble. while reading an article about the show, it mentioned her name, Jane Horrocks- at which point i smacked my head. duh! she was on Red Dwarf (Nirvanah Crane from Holoship). wow was her voice different. i liked her voice on Ab Fab. i couldn't understand everything she said at first, but i liked it =)
i'm going to go get food and then i'll respond to comments from other entries.
one more quick random thought- for some reason i really like that Teal'c calls Daniel 'DanielJackson' XD and now Teal'c is looking strange to me without hair o_0 nooooooo!
