Tuesday after work, I had to stop off at Target because this weekend is both Mother’s Day and my dad’s birthday and I needed to get a couple cards especially since I’m actually going to my dad’s this weekend so my sister and I can go to that cupcake baking class.

So on the bus ride over to there, I start thinking ‘Hey, I don’t think I’ve looked for White Collar at Target yet. It’s like $40 on Amazon, but sometimes Target has some really good deals.’ I decide that if I find it and it’s under $20, I’m getting it.

I get to Target and go for the cards first because my mom is going to pick me up soon and I NEED the cards at least. Surprisingly, I don’t spend too much time in the card aisles. I find what I like/want pretty quickly. So I decide to head over to the DVD section. I’m just looking around when I spot White Collar where it definitely shouldn’t be. The plastic around it is a little ripped at the edge, but the case itself seems fine. I go over to the TV section to see if there are more or what price it is, but I don’t see any more. There wasn’t even a sticker where it SHOULD have been. So I’m thinking, it’s meant to be or something, LOL. I go look for a price scanner because I don’t want to get my hopes up only to have it still be too expensive to buy. I find one and as I go to scan the DVD, I notice that the screen is saying it’s out of order. Awesome. So I search for another one. I scan it. $12.99 for the first season of White Collar. Booyah! I’m sure it’ll be even cheaper later, but I’ve wanted it and $13 is still so much cheaper than the like $43 it was on Amazon. Of course, now they have both seasons in a little pack for less than $40 on Amazon. Meh :P

I also picked up a DVD of 20 episodes of old Betty White shows for $4.75. Her biography was there too, in hardcover, but it takes me forever to read books and $20 is too much for one right now. When it comes out in paperback, I'll be all over that.

Today my mom made me go to Costco with her for a mattress pad, and I saw the entire series of Newsradio for $19.99. Naturally I had to have it.

Other than that, NCIS was highly entertaining. I mean, I am a sucker for anything Gibbs/DiNozzo related and/or most things back story related. And Community was great too. Can't wait to see next week's continuation. Too bad it's the season finale :(

And work. Work is going really well. Had a bit of a day earlier this week but overall, I'm enjoying it and I hope I get to stay.

PS Did you guys see that only like 2 days after the fact, NCIS had Osama bin Laden crossed out on their most wanted wall? I just thought that was a pretty cool detail.
