So far so good, so far so good
It's been a great weekend so far. Last night, we went to see the Bob Malone band at The Mint (Matt was playing) and it was fantastic. Didn't get home until midnight. It was awesome music, and saw many friends there, too. One we hadn't seen in at least 15 years, who turned out to play guitar in the band. Representatives from the Hoak-Burke family were also present. Next time we will have to compare schedules and maybe ride together (and get a table together, too)Did I mention the music was great? after experiencing the drumming, agreed to Becca joining the Percussion Ensemble this year.
Had to get up this morning to help set up a little kid Pirate birthday party and again had a great time. Despite a rocky start due to no cell phone reception (as in I was at the wrong park and couldn't get hold of anyone directly), a great time was had by all...
And now I've just gotten home after the Torrance Food & Wine event to benefit Torrance Memorial Hospital.
