so yep, i intend to keep that promise for sarah, the most amazing girl in the entire universe and then some, has gone up to the great white north of alaska. **sadness** but she shall be taking pictures and is writing back to me, so yay! the past couple days have been incredible fun, so much so that i hope i can remember it all. let's start off last wednesday. i spent all morning rediscovering my love for a select few video games, one those games being the sonic the hedgehog mega collection which includes every classic sonic game there was. then i renewed my love of crazy taxi, getting a class S license on my first try. i guess im just that damn good, or lucky, or something. so then later on i kicked the antisocialness and went to the beach with sarah and lots of other people. ty, brian, sam, sarah G., lilly, laura, nicole, dustin and jason if i remember correctly. ty was feeling sleepy tho, so a bunch of us went to friendlies and after making our waiter, nate, feel sufficiently awkward with sarah G. screaming out "WHY DONT YOU BRING YOUR BLOW JOB OVER HERE!?!!?" to brian over the phone and other fun nonsense, we decided to go up to her house. there i tried not to fall asleep watching lords of dogtown, and later sarah convinced me to jump in the pool with my clothes on, she did so i guess it was only fair i did too, so a bunch of us went swimming at midnight. much fun. the next day was incredible fun. SIX FLAGS!!!!!!!!!! since sarah is so incredibly awesome, she was able to get us discounts on the tickets and her, lilly, sarah G. and james all hopped in my car and we made the trek up to beautiful agawam massachusetts. thanks to my incredible sense of direction, we got lost a couple times, but still managed to get there around 1230ish. which was perfect timing............ for the thunderstorm!! it rained the hardest i have ever witnessed, and we decided to play amusement park games for awhile (i won a scooby doo, kickass!) after getting bored of that we wandered around and jumped around in this huge puddle and got each other soaking wet. the second time in two days most of us had been completely soaked head to toe in our clothing. so what better to do when soaking wet and in need of a good drying off, than going on teacups? that got us so dizzy, we must have set the record for fastest teacup spinning, i swear. then, finally the rain disappeared and we were able to go on rides again! sarah convinced me to go on superman, and im so glad she did. i had so much fun, and for the rest of the day we went on a bunch of other rides, our "final finale" being superman one last time. so, it probably goes without saying that we had an incredibly fun time. that night, sarah and i watched indiana jones and the last crusade because harrison ford + sean connery = AWESOME! after finishing the movie, we spent a long time trying to figure out how to say goodbye as it was her last night before leaving for alaska, *tear*. ((I MISS YOU)) thankfully, the sadness of sarah leaving until july 10th was hidden away by the fun of seeing two, count em', TWO concerts in a row! friday was RX Bandits. pat and joe came over and we left funny stalkery myspace comments to reel big fish, and then we picked up chris. with time to kill, we went to get ice cream at lickety splits or whatever they're calling it now, and pat stole this $1 grab bag which had this ice cream thing in it that shot out a foam ice cream scoop if you pressed a button. so we drove up to the concert with our ice cream gun and had ice cream drive by's shooting all the cars that drove past. then in this one car, there were these two girls that started waving to chris after he ice cream shot them, so we pursued and gave them pat's number to call chris with and i guess one of them liked him because she had her number already written down for him. her name was meg or something, and the two really hit it off on the phone. the whole entire situation was hilarious, i guess you had to be there. so we got to the living room (dump) and outside a couple members of the bands playing that night were playing frisbee, and at one point i handed a frisbee to joe troy of rx bandits (he plays bass in the band and therefore is that much more awesome) inside we played pool before the opening bands came on. pat lost by scratching and getting the 8 ball in on the same shot. then we moseyed on up to the very front were we were firmly entrenched for the entire show. the first band was called desa, they were from cali and sounded like a mix of pop-punk and progressive rock, they weren't bad. next came men women and children. they were this dance-punk band from NYC who got dressed up all funky, had choreographed dance moves and a bubble machines. in other words, they rocked. i bought their cd after. then i am the avalance came on, and they were fun and played a fugazi cover which made me happy to my core, and then when the bass player's bass broke the singer told a story about him pissing on stuff when he got drunk. it was funny. then rx bandits came on. i was sad tho, because steve borth, the sax player and guy i met the previous time i went to see rxb, had quit the band. a sax down, the bandits still managed to rock the house down. much love and respect to those fine musicians. later that night i got lost and took a very roundabout way of getting to warwick. we got 4 large sprites and some food at the wendy's located near, and i quote joe on this, "CHUCKIE MOTHERFUCKIN' CHEESE, BITCHES!!" we finally made it home well past 1 in the morning after a night of pure joy. the next day deserves its own entry and i am verrrrrrrrry tired, so i shall leave that fun for tomorrow.
TO BE CONTINUOUSLY CONTINUED!
