How do you get along with people whose values are different than yours? How do you handle someone's racism or homophobia? I used to be a libertarian. I looked at the government, saw a lot of screwed up bureaucracy, and thought it might be best if we reduced government as much as possible. I was really happy to see wonderful turnout for the women's marches yesterday, but I was not part of that turnout. I went to Toastmasters meetings in the morning, a seminar in the afternoon, a birthday gathering in the evening. I stayed normal and kept my head down because that is what I feel like doing.
