oh, they don't even want you to climb down! you just yell at the guy that you want down, and he gently lowers the rope. there's a little bit of an art to, like, not spinning around and hitting your butt on the wall, but I'll get it.
Actually, lifting yourself off the seat of a chair by using your triceps to do the lifting is a great way to tone those and get some muscle strength going in them

Yay, glad you got to try it! Climbing is really fun, but it definitely does leave you sore.
If Marc wants to learn to belay, take advantage of it hehe. It's a valuable skill. A climbing gym near me has automatic belays so you don't need a person belaying you, but you get way more flexibility working with a belayer than a machine.
