my priorities, look at them
I STILL NEED A HALLOWEEN COSTUME. What is wrong with my ~*creative abilities*~?
It's been tough deciding this year! I have a great Romana II costume from last year (here - that is opiumgaze and I with a Dalek, by the way) that I could use, but I want to try something different. My tentative plan is to be a Gumby (of Monty Python fame), but I can't find braces and I don't think I could speak in that voice without wanting to punch myself. It is funnier when it's the Pythons doing it. :I
And then I thought of being one of the bots from MST3K, but I don't have the time or the resources to pull that off successfully.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'm tempted to just print off a big picture of someone's face and go as that person.
On another note, I tried lining up to get the swine flu vaccination today, but after waiting in line for 40 minutes and experiencing the joy of having children throw leaves at my head, I found out that it would be another 3 hour wait from there. I gave up. I will try again tomorrow, maybe, or even next week. These are the mixed blessings of free health care.
Job search is still going poorly and I am becoming more and more dissatisfied with my current job. Clearly, the solution is to decorate the house, carve a pumpkin, and worry about my nonexistent costume ideas!
