Not only are stamps more expensive (still no new 69 cent stamps to Canada, btw), but now all international packages have to be shipped by airmail! I know that you can't expect ground delivery across the Atlantic or Pacific, but not to Canada? It's attached most of the way along, really!
I've never flown first class, but I'm pleased that my packages will. Probably get to drink out of a real glass glass and everything. So keep your eyes peeled galiena_pvszr, a sleekly gloved Jeevesian figure will be hand delivering your natal day notions shortly.
Do I feel like going out again to find a new battery for the DVD remote or not? Should probably keep an eye out for a new universal remote, just in case. Hard to make menu selections from the front of the player. Reminds me of the machine we have at work: no remote and no manual. Makes cataloging hard when you can't FF through the cow birthing scenes to get to the credits. I've been bribed to keep going with the promise of a DVD drive in my next work computer. Go me!
Why don't they sell large tins of vegetarian baked beans in these parts? I'm confident I can manage a big serving, since I'm not having any meat with them!
