PC load letter do your worst-- I know where my towel is

6.45 p.m., and I've shopped, made supper, prepared the mail, and washed the dishes?

This has all the makings of a seriously relaxing weekend. Movies and reading until I can't move or read any more!

I felt like a real live librarian today. Real research! Combing archives! Boolean searches! Open ended questions! No response yet on whether any of the information was useful or not. Start of a long weekend for the asker and the looker, after all.

All I need to have a work day of maximum efficiency is complete solitude and a perfect storm. It's been raining and blustering something fierce all day. The ten trips back and forth to un-, re, un-, and re-install the printers was the only break I needed, wanted, or got. Even though everything merrily excreted A4/Letter for the rest of the day, I decidedly low-teched it and embraced the typewriter for my afternoon work.

Didn't I mention I've still got a shelflist to maintain? Real live 19th century librarian.
