So Jr.'s "driving" a truck at the fair with me in the back seat nagging him like he does me. You're going too fast, too slow, the radio's to loud, too soft. When I'm done being annoying, I ask him what song is playing on the radio...
"Our God Is An Awesome God". I really like that song...
I love is when I have one of those apple/tree moments with my son. He even learned about Moses parting the Red Sea today.
Another happy note...Jr. got to play the drums at church today. Not during the service of coarse, but he asked one of the music leaders and was allowed to after Sunday School. Apparently D. and Jr. came to some sort of agreement/deal. Jr. even gave D. a Fruit Loop necklace. I'm trying really hard not to think my son did that to hustle D., but again apple/tree...
It was a great afternoon/evening with S. and her 2 kids over for dinner, desert, conversation, and carnival. I'm really enjoying her company. I think when we get together we can alternate which single mother will be the Dad and which will be the Mom so we both don't have to be both. I don't want to be the Dad. I'm always the Dad. You're so much better at yelling than I am...
