I worked as a poll clerk in Elections Canada last year and it was loads of fun, besides the moula. Peter was the deputy returning officer (DRO). It's all just fancy jargon for the people who check you off as you come in to vote at the polls.
Anyhoo, I wish Peter was my grandpa. Last year we just chatted all the time in between handling the ballots and counting up at the end. One thing I remember him telling me, was the last time he did this he worked with someone who didn't say two words to him the whole time! Not fun. So he remembered our deal that we would work together in the next election. The thing is with my new jobbie, I just can't ask for days off to go do another gig. But at the same time I don't want to let him down. I'm sure they'll match him up with someone else, but I know all of my friends are 100x's nicer. So if you're hard up for a job this May 17th, or you can spare a day, this would be a really great opportunity! I'm serious, this job is as easy as messaging me, right now!
