So, the bacchanal known as Christmas is over, and the bacchanal known as New Year's Eve is on the horizon. I have no NYE plans other than staying home, having some snacks and maybe a glass or two of wine, and doing what I usually do - watch tv and play games on my computer/tablet. I actually prefer that. The countdown begins. Just a little over eight hours until 2012 begins in my time zone.

I know last year was a tough year for many on my flist, but for myself it was okay, and some ways actually good. I kept four of my resolutions:

Stay on budget
I ended up with a bit more in my savings than I started the year with, so I count this a success.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends.

What I'm *not* thankful for is the fact that my internet (or my modem) keeps dropping out.

Also, if anyone wants a couple of cats that are currently driving me batshit insane, e-mail me.
