WVU just beat Oklahoma State! Woohoo!!!!!
After last week's embarrassing beatdown by Maryland, I didn't give WVU a hope, but, they won 30-21! It was in no way pretty. Our offense is sad, but the defense - last year's weak link - came through. Also Oklahoma State's special teams kinda sucked. So, big win!
This morning I walked in the American Heart Walk. A group of us from work made up a team, but man, they should have been called the Pokalongs, because that's all they did... poke along. I had to ditch them so I could finish the 3 mile walk sometime before noon. Geesh! I mean I'm only twenty to thirty years older than those people so that's understandable, right? /eyeroll
We are having a beautiful day here in the Upper Ohio Valley today. Mids 70s and clear with only a bit of clouds. It was pretty much a perfect day for the walk, which was nice. I really need to sign up for more walks like that. There are always notices up at my gym, and I think now that I've gotten my toes wet I'll be more comfortable with doing more.
