So, Saturday again. Doing laundry and trying to decide what to have for breakfast. I did pretty good this week sticking to my diet. In fact, I need to be careful that I eat enough calories. Funny how when you eat less junk and more lean/low-fat food how hard it is to get enough calories. I also hit the gym again yesterday and did a cardio workout. Man, the elliptical 'bout killed me! I could only do two five minute sessions on it, but that's okay. The more I work out on it, the stronger I'll grow. I'm pretty definitely going to join when my week runs out. If I get into the routine, I'll keep with it. See, with me, that's the thing. I have to get into the routine. I'm a routine kinda gal.
Today after I finish laundry I need to take a run to Sam's Club/Walmart for a few things. Then I'm going to come home and do a free weight session with an old VHS tape I have. I used this routine years ago, and really noticed a difference. I'm going to add this to my gym routines. My plan it to workout six times a week until I get into shape (which will probably take over a year!), and then maybe I can cut down to three-four times a week. I just hope I can keep it up.
We had a storm blow through here yesterday afternoon, but the weather is lovely today. Very cool and clear. I like it. :-)
