I actually have my story written for the John/Rodney it's only just begun fest. I finished the first draft of the final sex scene this afternoon at work... yeah, it was one of those days. I already had the ending written, I just needed to write the sex leading up to the finale. I've rewritten the first part of the story quite a bit and I'm fairly ( Read more... )

*flails* Carson! He made a surprise appearance in a fic I'm working on too! I never liked him but he's trying to make me change my mind. Stupid fictional characters.

Hee! Well, I loved Carson as a recurring character. I think putting Paul on as a regular cast member totally ruined the character. They kept shoving him into situations where he didn't belong. Much like another doctor on the show. *cough*

He's really not there for more than one scene, but, OMG! did he want to steal the spotlight. LOL

Finishing fics is a wonderful thing. Don't mind if I live vicariously through you do you?

Oh, man, the muses are kicking our asses, aren't they? My bitch will probably disappear any second now, so I'm just glad I was able to actually get something written while she made a quick booty call.

And then, when [info]velocitygrass posted her plans for the fest, I thought of this story and suddenly, things started to work out in my mind, and I finally found my way around Carson and his big fat mouth. *g*
That's what I was hoping for, for all of us to remember what we love and why we want to keep telling our stories.

And it didn't say anywhere that it had to be a new story, so it's not cheating at all ;) In fact finishing a WIP sounds like a great idea for the Fest!

The really funny thing? This WIP is one that I was writing for a McSheplets prompt, so the fact that you're instrumental in getting the darned thing finished is very appropriate. :-)
