I don't think he hates me, but I'm not his most favorite person right now
Nikki had his grooming appointment today, and now he's half the cat he was this morning. :-) He also was not terribly pleased by the experience if his vocalizations were any indication. But, I think he'll feel better now that all that matted hair is gone. I just wish I'd done it sooner, poor thing.
I had to take the entire morning off since the appointment was at 10:30 and I live far enough away from work and from the groomers that it would have required an hour's transportation time anyway, plus the time at the groomers. So, I figured I'd just sleep in and then get ready at my leisure to take him in. I even had time after I got him home to eat lunch and then go visit my mom and fill the gas tank before I had to be at work. I could get used to working half-days. :-)
Steelers play another exhibition game tonight, so in all likelihood, I won't be watching any of the Olympics. And guess what I'll be missing. MEN'S VOLLEYBALL!!!! *facepalm*
