The Doctor is In

Moving right along with my efforts to watch Who. I actually got four episodes watched last night - and that was with taking a break to watch Pirate Master. Btw, Pirate Master is okay, but not the most exciting reality show I've ever watched. It only has one challenge per episode and then there's a half hour of blather and "cutting a pirate adrift". It's entertaining enough to watch (at least until Louie gets cuts adrift), and the ship is freakin' awesome, but for the most part, just okay.

Anyway, I watched the last two episodes of Nine and the first two episodes (along with the mini-episode at the beginning) of Ten. The next episode I've already seen, and it's not one of my favorites - the one with Queen Victoria and the werewolves. I'll probably watch it, but still, not a favorite.

Last night, I had a dream wherein a bunch of people were in a Big Brother-like house. I'm assuming I had this dream because of the Big Brother-like house in Bad Wolf. Anyway, at one point a guy and his two buddies were alone and for some reason the one guy had to have sex with one of his friends, so he asked both of them to have sex. Ooooh, hot threesome sex dream, right? Yeah, not so much. My stupid brain did a fade to black. The hell, brain?! I never seem to be able to dream the sex part in a sex dream. I'm fairly certain I don't want to know what that means. :)

I'm of two minds as to whether or not I'm going to watch the Stargates tonight. I'm really ready for SG-1 to just be gone, and I already saw SGA. I guess it depends on whether or not I'd rather be watching Doctor Who. Also, thanks to scifiwire, I've been spoiled about a plot point for S4 SGA, and one that doesn't make me particularly happy. I should just drop that damned feed, not that I probably wouldn't have been spoiled anyway from my flist.

Before I went to sleep last night, I read Spike: Old Wounds, another of the older graphic novels, this one written by Scott Tipton. He's the same guy that wrote Angel: Auld Lang Syne which I really liked. This book, Old Wounds, was really like fanfic with pictures. In fact, I'm pretty sure I saw the ending written in about a hundred fanfics. *g* Not a bad book, but not OMG! great. Still I did enjoy the Spike/Fred moments in that book just as much as I loved then during S5.

tv, comic books, me me me, spike
