Feeling lazy

You know, Sunday morning television really sucks, and yet I don't feel like watching any of my twelve million dvds. sigh Right now, I have the Sci Fi Channel on, and I'm "watching" Snakehead Terror, a movie as bad as the title suggests. You know it's bad when you start to root for the killer fish over the humans. I have it muted right now because I couldn't stand the ear-bleedingly shrill screaming by a teenaged girl.

At least at noon I have my choice of two shows. The Pittsburgh PBS station has a show about cemeteries, and I love old cemeteries. I can spend hours and hours walking through old cemeteries and reading headstones and wondering what that person's life was like. So I might watch that. On the other hand, A&E has Cold Case Files on (the one about real cold case files, not the CBS series), and I really love that too. But I think I'm leaning toward the cemetery documentary. :)

Since the regular television season is over, I've been watching a lot of Court TV - Forensic Files, Psychic Detectives and a few other shows. I don't watch COPS or, god forbid, Hollywood Heat.

I've started to read a couple fics over the past couple days, only to back button them pretty quickly. They may be very good stories, but they hit one of my hot buttons. The first was a Spander Tabula Rasa AU, but the author decided to change Randy's name to Randal. Uh, why? If this is supposed to be just an AU where Spike and Xander get together, why fuck with the name? It's the same with the Buffy/Elizabeth thing. Bugs the shit outta me.

The second story I quit on was a Ronon/Teyla piece, and in it the author had Ronon musing that sometimes he allows something painful but not life-threatening to get to McKay just because the guy bugs him so much, and that just struck me as so OOC (at least for my Ronon who I believe is very protective of his teammates) that I couldn't read the story.

I have stuff to do today after I finish my laundry, but *points to post title* I really don't want to do it.

Ooh, my show's on.
