Thanks. This was kind of an introspective John piece. A look into the John that he hides from others, and even Rodney has so far only gotten a small glimpse of.
John knows he should pull away, get out of bed, dress, and leave, but Rodney is sleep-warmed and tempting, and John can't resist stealing just one last kiss.
I liked how they both knew John needed to leave and yet they just couldn't stop touching. Very sensual and the image of John carrying Rodney's scent with him was guh. :)
Thanks. This did turn out more bittersweet than I'd originally imagined. I see John as someone who's never really been in love, and then when he is, he has to hide it.
