So, just an update in case you didnt know...
I officially accepted my internship at Argonne National Lab as part of the US department of Energy internship (yea me! it looks really good on a resume). That means that I will be staying in Illinois for the entire summer except for the first two weeks of may and the last two weeks of August. So, if you can try to catch me at home to hang out, or come see me. Just as an incentive, if you come see me at argonne, you get a spiffy guest badge after you prove youre you and an american citizen. (Security is tight bc its a government run facility).
On top of having one of the best internships around, I get 10 dollars an hour (400 a week) AND my housing completely paid for meaning that its like 500-600 a week if i had to pay for an apartment around here. Even better is that once the school year starts, I become an employee in the Co-Op department with a pay of 13-17 an hour. I dont even know what to do with making that much money!
Well thats about it... I was just excited for myself.
