I can't believe how hard junior year is and it's only the fourth day. I'm really regretting that I'm taking all AP classes, am I crazy? In the past two days I have made over four hundred note cards, four hundred! Every night I've been staying up past twelve and during lunch time I do homework. Costa Rica is like a long lost memory. It reminds me so much of Paraguay and of my childhood. Everyone is polite and friendly and my host family is kooky and eccentric, I love it. They had me sing Shakira more than 5 times and have been told many nice compliments, every once in a while I  think everyone needs compliments. Every day it rains about 3 ( Read more... )

Saturday, May 6, 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. the coolest place in Houston to be? The Unitarian Fellowship, 1504 Wirt Road 77055. Yes, that's right. In the backyard. Get some of Bob's Magical Pop Corn, scope out the lawn for the blanket spot, sit, open cooler, relax. Please look for the police officer directing traffic in the street and park on Shady Villa.
