So after a week on the new Mediterranean diet, I'm down nine pounds. This says a lot less about the new diet than it does about the one I used to have. Blood pressure is also a lot closer to healthy, thanks to a painfully low sodium intake. I swear I'm not starving myself, either. It's just that salads are two meals a day

Actually, I love a loaded salad - of course loading it with bacon, cheese, buttered croutons, fat laden salad dressings, etc. is a bit counterproductive but there are healthier additions.....
Things are different for different people, though. If I'm exercising with a moderately healthy diet, I'm losing weight; if I'm not, I'm not.
Coryn doesn't skimp much but his diet is so much healthier than what I was eating in Selma, my weight dropped quickly after I moved to Colorado.
