Aim: Go to shops, BUY waterproof coat of sorts in preparation for wet weather, seek out prices for warm clothes required for winter.
That's it.
If I get time go to Stirling Castle, but to be honest I wanted to leave that for another day so I didn't feel rushed and would meander around at a comfortable -- and asking many questions where I see fit -- pace.
What HAPPENED?
I found the shops no problem (thankyou
tyro_83 for your fabulously helpful map!) but when I got there the skiing coats didn't appeal to me, and the waterproof ones seemed like I was wearing a plastic bag. I realised I'd prefer to hold off another few weeks and get a *shower* proof coat (a nice one) and if that's not enough I'll buy an umbrella. When winter gets closer I'll see what's available then.
Who says I can't be warm and look good too?
So I kinda went looking at shops instead. and spent more money than I really should have done on umm.. clothes.
Not jackets, not winter stuff, not waterproof stuff..
Just clothes.
And not even useful wear-to-work kind of clothes.. just clothes.
Which normally would be a good thing for me, because it's so RARE I find things I like.
But bad just now, because my money isn't being replenished- and I don't have a money-tree. It really isn't something I should have done just now, as I have plenty of other things that I require which are more important.
But then as soon as I got back to Edinburgh, it started to bloody-well RAIN! Didn't it? :S
