Like Father, like Son

Well, mrdorbin is off running errands while i'm here accompanying the Z-man while he's napping. Z-man and I have already done our errands this morning...a trip to Petsmart, Home Depot, car vacuuming, and Vivace stop. For the most part, Z-man loves the car....although i noticed today since the sun's out in force the reflection of the sun off of another car and when the sun itself is directly shining through the back...yeah, just a bit annoyed. But really, his annoyment is more of a "nghuuh" that a meltdown of high shrill proportions.

Z-man is enjoying 70s soft rock...it's a great way to get a nap of him (which he's doing now as Maureen McGovern is singing "There's got to be a Morning After"). Which of course, i'm enjoying. Some of the earliest songs I remember be on the radio were "Bennie and the Jets" and "Don't go breaking my heart" by Elton John, "How Long" by Ace, "Lay down Sally" by Eric Clapton and "Sundown" by Gordon Lightfoot.

Speaking of Gordon, I myself am getting a deeper appreciation of him as i've bought "Race Among the Ruins", "Bitter Green", and "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald".

.....and now Sir Paul is asking me to "Listen to what the Man Said". so I guess I should.
