Room 312: Wednesday Evening

Katara curled up on her bed, looking out the window up at the night sky.  She didn't think she could see the eclipse from this angle, but it seemed safer than going outside to look.

Soon after he noticed the eclipse beginning, Sokka was running down the hall. "KATAAAARAAAAA!!!!! KATAAAAARAAAAA!!!"

He nearly overshot her door, but managed to catch his fingers on her doorframe and swing himself into the room. He stood there, panting, for a moment.

"Good... You're... You're... Okay. Good."

She swung up off her bed, hand on her book to throw if necessary.

"Oh. Sokka! You scared me!"

Sokka looked around. "Well... Yeah. I mean, of course you know. I mean..." He shrugged. "You know, you really ought to learn a little hand-to-hand combat, or something. For eclipses, deserts, that sort of thing."

"Plus, there are clubs after school," Sokka continued. "One for guns, one for swords, and one for hand-to-hand." He grinned and jerked a thumb at his chest. "I'm in all of them. Learning all KINDS of stuff."
