Katara curled up on her bed, looking out the window up at the night sky. She didn't think she could see the eclipse from this angle, but it seemed safer than going outside to look.
She shivered, her arms hugging her knees to her as she watched, trying not to remember the past two eclipses and their consequences. Her eyes went to the water skin next to her on the bed, but in a few minutes, the water in there would be worthless to her, completely unusable. Only for a few minutes though, Tui and La were still circling each other in the spring at the North Pole. The moon wasn't going away forever. It wasn't. Really.
