OMKami it's been way too long, I don't even know where to begin.
I missed the 1st Advent! Despite the snow, I don't feel Christmassy at all...

I've almost finished my catering repoart, which is good news, hopefully after writing this, I'll eat something and do the final touches, hand it in on Friday and BAMM, be the first to do so, so I can work on other assignments waiting to be done.
I must say it's handy I can walk to Uni. I must have said this before, but it really is. My internet connection at home on my laptop is super crappy, and the new PC we bought doesn't have any Office functions on it yet. So a lot of work on the catering report has been done in the library. =3

... I best not procrastinate and just get out with it:
My English grandmother passed last Friday. I don't like telling people who don't really need to know these things, but I'm going to have to tell my tutors, because the funeral is on the day of our Christmas Fayre, where we'll also be marked on.
There is no question about it, I want to attend the funeral, but I feel like "it's my grandmother's funeral" is the oldest excuse in the book. I really am afraid of people thinking that I'm lying. It's like the time when I felt sick on the day of a French exam and phoned the school to say I wasn't coming in. I remember it well, because for the next French exam, I also felt sick and I had the feeling my teacher wouldn't believe me, so I went to class, but left after history, otherwise I fear I may have ruined my book.
I'll just go there and tell my tutor how it is, what else can I do?

Since my father has only bought the News, Entertainment and Documentary packages for the TV, I can't watch Pokemon. Instead, I watch things like Newsnight, and generally more news than ever before.
It's all so grim~
Britain is bankrupt and I pray I won't be affected by killer university fees. If that's the case, I might as well head back to Germany, where I hear they're contemplating even getting rid of them (but believe me, they'll get the money in from a different source).
Or escape to Australia. My father's convinced I should "get out while I can".
And Korea does my head in. It really does... I'm so worried...

But things that have cheered me up the last month:
Stephen Fry will be starring in the second Sherlock Holmes film as Mycroft!! I'm sure everybody apart from the UK will be going "it's the guy from Bones!!". I will have to conceal squees of joy when I go see it.
Which reminds me: I haven't seen the new Harry Potter yet! *gasp*. I just haven't taken the time yet. But it's not like it'll be out of the cinemas soon.

I found raw scans of "Thermae Romae", that manga I really wanted to read! It's HILARIOUS. I thought Lucius would always travel between ancient Rome and modern Japan from the same baths, but he can end up ANYWHERE from any body of water in Rome. XD
I think Alex still has my Latin book... I miss Latin~~~

Otherwise... I should be happy I've almost completed Catering. I've got too many words, so it'll have to be butchered a little further, but I'm almost there~~~ Yay!

The weather is absolutely crazy in the UK, Snow In Autumn.
Take care!
