I always manage to break my internet when my father is home. My wireless is refusing to work, so I currently have his little device that let's me have internets in my USB port. Don't let me down now.
Such a boring weekend, raining and I haven't really done much. Than again, I can only blame myself for not calling on people and asking what they're doing and if they've got time. Christina stopped by last night and we watched "Once Upon a Time in Mexico" together. I only recorded it because I thought the guy in the advert was rather handsome and it turned out to star Antonio Banderas and Johnny Depp. Hurrah.
Don't ask me about the story though, I wasn't in the mood for complicated plots. Christina tried to make it more transparent for me, but as everything seemed to work out in the end (except for Johnny losing his eyes) it wasn't that tragic.
I still have to watch Star Trek.
Now that my father's home, he's shown me a few series he thought were funny, such as "The Inbetweeners", which features a group of teenage boys getting into all sorts of trouble. Not quite my cup of tea, but funny nonetheless. He also brought back the first season of "Fawlty Towers" starring John Cleese for me which I will watch when I feel like I deserve it. Because I've been watching too many other things like "Have I Got News For You" and all the other things you can find on 'Dave'. Yes. I'm that kind of person. What kind of a name for a channel is that, anyway? Dave?
It seems that Lara (my colleague in China) is going to go to the same university as me, so hopefully we'll see each other there. I'm also glad I'm not the only one having problems looking through the documents we got after selling our souls signing in. ^^x*
All will work out. I still have a little time. *mantra*
Our successors have arrived in China! I wonder which one got my flat... I left the Gegege no Kitaro song on my door XD. It's good that Daniel is still there to show them around. Steffi wrote to me saying that they've already asked for W-LAN. No. I'm afraid you'll have to do what I did and put your laptop on your drawers at the foot of your bed if you want internet in bed.
As for my job: I can't believe how some people act like kindergarteners when it comes to wearing the uniforms. My aunt is responsible for handing them out and she gets so many complaints along the lines of "I don't like the new colour!", "How dare you give me the larger size!", "Why do we have to wear the same colour as the students?!", "There's already a name in it!"...
Urgh. There's nothing she can do about it, folks. Wear the uniform for work, go home and wear what you like. You're not supposed to look pretty at work, it's so that the patients know who's a nurse and who's just helping out like I do.
And I'd be so much faster if people stopped talking to me. Granted, if I were there for longer, I'd like some friends, but I'm only helping out for a month so don't ask me for an opinion on your hair and keep me there for half an hour. Please. Breakfast is over at 10!
While I still have time before university, I'm also helping out with children's P.E. lessons on Friday. Some children who still knew me were disappointed because I hadn't remembered their names, but there were a few new faces there as well. Like Zombie-Boy.
(to boy in front) "I'll absorb your soul!"
You'll do what?
"Absorb his soul. ...But I don't know what it means..."
Cutest zombie, ever. I bet his parents or brother play WoW or something. I had to explain to him that zombies are undead, not dead. Oh, and he couldn't infect me with pestilence because I had declared the bouncy mat a sanatized area. And that crocodiles would eat him if he didn't leave Alexander's soul alone and climb up the ladder already.
