(no subject)
I slept until 9 am, amid dreams of working at another school 25 miles away, driving home a long distance in ice and snow - on a bicycle (actually a backpack that turns into a bicycle!!!), taking the wrong road and being on the 'scenic view" which includes stuffing (literally, with your hands) your car into a tiny chute and flying out the other side onto a luge track, having a new apartment which had a weird floor plan, and many, many other details.
Again, it was an interesting dream, very odd and just plain crazy.
I need to go back over to school today to finish up plans for a substitute. Everything was just in a mess at the end of this week. The parent-teacher conferences really threw a wrench into planning, grading, & sleeping.
It looks like a pretty nice day out there. Most of the leaves are gone, though. The white mums my colleague and I planted at school are absolutely beautiful. They are big mounds of snow white. They're quite striking against the green grass of the school courtyard.
I'm actually still sleepy. I'll do as much as I can before nap time.
