(no subject)
My ex-mother-in-law died last week. She was 95. She'd been in a nursing home for about five years and had Ahlzheimer's. I'm taking the day off Monday to go to the funeral. Her mother was about that age when she died, too.
This week was pretty goofy. A school friend gave me a witch's mask, so I put it on today in one of my classes. The kids loved it. I went along, but I didn't feel very well today. We had parent/teacher conferences Wednesday and Thursday from 2:30 to 6:30, each night. Sitting in the gym for four hours talking to parents wore me out completely. It was grueling. The parents were fine, but sometimes I just don't know what to say to them.
Gosh, I'm beat. I think I'll flop on the couch and watch stupid "Ghost Adventures."
