Spent most of the day with my grandparents. They're the best, I love them so much.
It's weird how much things have changed. Family get-togethers used to be such a big deal. We have a huge family, and I have great memories of them all growing up, but within about the past ten years half of them went bat-shit insane; some of them have cut off all contact, and some show up once in a while but are so fucking intolerable to be around. Today was nice because it was just a few of us hanging out without any of the stressful people there. Just ate some lunch and talked without having to deal with any bratty kids or crazy aunts and uncles.
