I had a really lovely weekend - I got some of my favourite people and also yarn, and this was deeply pleasing on every level.

I am awake because there was a Stardust preview in town and I get Orange Wedsndays cheap tickets, except it sold out just before we got to the front of the queue, and we went to see the Transformers movie in IMAX instead. Oh. Oh, Life On Mars. I liked last week, but there wasn't really anything new there; I don't mind filler when it's so pretty and fun, but filler it was. Only then you come up with that and, well, yeah, I kind of love you.

I went with my housemates to see Little Miss Sunshine tonight. I really liked it - it managed to be a slightly fluffy comedy while also having something useful and practical to say, which immediately put it half a head in front of most of the other stuff out at the moment, and also, omg Steve Carrell is love.

I went to see X3 today. The main thing I want to say about it is that I love my housemates.

Anybody who gives even the slightest bit of a toss about the V for Vendetta movie, get yourself here at once. Just, yeah. One of the best reviews I've ever read.
