A peaceful Friday night
Not much is going on here tonight. It's nice and quiet! Lester is still at work and Kayleen went out with her friend. Maria is watching TV and here I sit at the computer. I'm becoming far too attached to my chair. I need to get more physical exercise than typing. At least I'm losing weight thanks to TrimSpa! :) That stuff really works.
I spend way too much time online. I confess, it's true! It's far more interesting than boring housework. Cleaning is just not my favorite thing to do. I'm slowly turning into a Yahoo groups junkie. I've been moderating an egroup for pen pals which is a lot of fun. I love it!
My friend Cheryl in CA started it after Christmas. She got frustrated with the group and voted me in as the new owner. I was completely shocked but decided to give it a try. I'd never done anything quite like that before! Anyway we're successful and have 26 members now. It's amazing but very cool. I have her to thank for giving me the push to become a group moderator.
I also joined another egroup that has swaps, games and prizes. It's a small but very active group. It's so much fun! The ladies are nice and there's a lot of email with that group, too. Lester doesn't understand how I could spend so much time on the computer. I don't even chat on Yahoo because I'm so busy reading email. That proves I have strong willpower, doesn't it?
Lester bought 4,000 nightcrawlers so we could go fishing. Yes, the number really is four thousand! The little darlings are crawling around and being slimy in our basement. He said we're going fishing tomorrow morning. That will be great as long as we can get up early enough. He goes to work at 2:30 pm. In fact, he'll be coming home soon so I should sign off and look busy. No sense in making him upset. Good night and hugs to all. Bye for now!
