Like a Hot Noise

Comedian Eric O'Shea performed at our school last night. He wasn't that funny; mildly entertaining at best. And he used a joke that I recognized from comedienne Elvira Kurt, which made me mad, because that's one of my favorite jokes. Something about a slide in hot weather, and then the noise she makes when she talks about sliding down it.

She was funnier.

I sat with Katie, Matt, and Adam, who left us half-way through the performance to go sit in front next to the girl into whose pants he is trying to get, named Meg. O'Shea noticed this, and teased Adam about it, then egged him on to put his arm around her. Adam complied, and was hence known throughout the rest of the evening affectionately as "Pervy." Whenever O'Shea started to bomb, he'd just mention Pervy and the audience would erupt.

Interestingly, Adam and Eric O'Shea are near identiccal. After the show, we introduced ourselves.

"He looks just like you!" I yelled to the comedian, pointing to Adam, as Eric walked back into the deserted cafe.

He came over and said, "Yea, I can see the resemblance."

"He's a quaker," I added.

"Awesome. I'm Amish, myself," he explained.

And that was it, basically.

Katie went to her boyfriend's dorm afterwards, and Matt, Adam, and I went back to their dorm. Meg came over, and they all watched as I played Bully. I love that game. I miss my PS2.

Meg went back to her room a little after midnight, and then Adam went to the twenty-four hour Price Chopper, so Matt and I were left all alone.

Sweet.
