tick tock tick tock....
Well, the countdown is on. Only 28 days until my due date, but I have a feeling this little guy will come early. (crossing my fingers for a hallowe'en baby!).
I'm starting to get things ready for the arrival by buying all the little things needed (lotions, vaseline, shampoo, wipes and body wash), and starting to get the nursery ready.
My aunt bought me about a million diapers, God I love her, lol. And I washed all the clothes that the baby has amassed from both sets of gransparents so far. It was two full washer loads. Man, he's got more clothing than I do!
I scored an awesome oak convertable crib online for half the price and saved on shipping by picking it up (the store is only down the street from me!). My mom bought a solid oak dresser for the nursery while we were there. Now the kid is set for furniture for the next 5 years at least. And becasue it's oak, it'll carry over no matter what decore we later choose.
Even though my belly is big and I can feel him kick, it still hasn't fully sunk in that this is real. My cousin went through the same thing. She didn't think it was real until they plopped her daughter on her chest after delivery.
I can't wait.
