Today when I got to the exit, Sly was asleep in the grass. He woke up as I pulled into the grass, barked, then calmed down when I called that it was only me. I got out of the car, and Sylvia came out of the trees and ran over to me. This morning I was barely awake and hadn't even lifted my head from the pillow when I heard the weather report: possibility of 3+ inches of rain in the next 24-36 hours, some storms may be severe. Just got back from feeding the Family, and Sylvia came out and lay down in the grass, and let me lie with her and pet her for about 10 or 15 minutes!! I scratched her chest and neck and rubbed her ears, and talked to her. Sly watched, and woowoo'ed a few times, and I encouraged him to come over and join us but he wouldn't. When I got there today, all three dogs were out, and barked at me. When I finished parking, Caine and Sylvia had disappeared, so I called her by name and whistled...and she came running out directly to me and touched her nose to my hand again!
