Summary: Kiyone brings lunch to her precious boss.
Kiyone had made sure to finish all of her current work filing and organizing reports early; so that when Ukitake had come back from his meeting, he could sit down and enjoy a nice meal before his schedule pulled him away from his office again. The coffee shop hadn't been too crowded, since she had left a bit early to beat the rush and be nearly first in line.
Piping hot tea, a healthy turkey club sandwich, and a chocolate candy bar. She was always so nervous when she bought Ukitake lunch. Kiyone always worried she would end up picking the wrong thing, have it turn out he was allergic, and thus putting him in far worse medical condition than he already was. Ukitake didn't seem to have any allergies, but they could show up at any time? How could she be so sure?
Nevertheless, Kiyone was unsure how to react at the moment, since Ukitake was a few minutes late arriving to his office. He most likely only stepped out to conclude a meeting, and give friendly goodbyes (since thats just the kind of guy he was). So, she simply sat there at her desk, waiting for him to show. Trying to control the exaggerated thoughts of if something horrible had happened to him on the way back.
