st. james apartment to myself for a week, bedroom cleaned up, rearranged somewhat more grownup, incense and scented candles, half as many clothes only the floor, mostly for Alicia, but I'm happy with the setup.
got out of work at the courthouse at 6:00 PM today, which is early, only really happens otherwise if I'm traveling or seeing an early show or getting some dinner. Dinner plans are pretty scarce these days. Tonight no plans, which is fine, in between funds, so to speak. unfortunate general Tsos tofu leftovers awaited me, no other plans.
Started a documentary of archival Reagan footage, but drifted after half an hour.
this weekend might could have been the briefest holiday drop-in I've had in a while, but it all goodness for pretty much the whole time.
Rode down from New York saturday morning with Boettke, whose store in the alley is killing it, and he's in a good spot in brooklyn, 538, not on hard drugs.
Jason messaged me on the ride down that Wire magazine hit him with questions about the split tape with Brown Piss/Flood Beast/Creeping/Fake Object, which is a cool prologue to that very lowkey double cassette in VHS clamshell on CNP. Exciting, enjoyed revisiting those trax, writing rambling response to Tabitha's questions.

Alicia's been knitting me a surprise present for weeks, which is awesome that she's doing it, but the secret nature puts a damper on the weekday hangs, which are important to the mon-fri working schlub lifestyle. its literally a mystery what she's knitting. just a little a month out from our New Orleans trip.
couple weeks from the 32nd birthday, trying to stay out there, avoid the mental and actual bombshelter.
