yesterday I spent my precious morning catching up on a bulk load of tv that the folks have been recording for me throughout the week and I spent the eveing keeping dearest daddy company.
which is why there was no post.
it's also why I had near enough 4 pages worth of lj entries to riffle through! Active flist is active!!!
anyway as to yesterday itself....
apparently it rained quite a lot friday night because I spent the morning bascialy converting poor BOU into a boat.
At one point I realy did think that he'd give up the ghost, but apparently he's a car with spirit! (the more I learn about you little BOU the more I love you!!)
I also got to listen to a grown man get overly excited about the fact that he's getting some form of flying Tardis for christmas.
Which then lead to this epic fangasmy rant about the other DR who stuff he's been buying recently, about how he's actually now applied to be in the show and how he basically stole this rare toy out of a little girl's arms.
By which point I'm basically on the floor crying laughter tears.
Oh Rob, I'm realy one of the only people who truly understands that such dedication to your fandom is not 'weird' in any way shape or form!
Talking of which...
I've decided that I'm going to try and get a Glimmer Monkey!
They've been stairing at me on Yahoo Auctions for many, many, months now. Their yellow bodies and smexy Ken signatures seducing my sensible brain and twisting it towards all out lust!
Of course not only do I need a giant handful of money for such an enterprise, but I also need to convince Rinkya that they want to ship me something so giant and fragile.
In otherwords I'll not even be making an attempt at purchasing them until March when I'll have a better idea of what (if any) free capital I'll have left for such useless but fun things!
anyway.
